PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display using a polymer network type high molecular dispersive liquid crystal with high contrast between printing and non-printing areas and to provide the utilization of the liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display has front glass with a thin transparent electrically conductive film pattern on one face and rear glass with a transparent electrically conductive film pattern and a reflecting layer on one face. Both the glasses are made opposite to each other and a polymer network type high molecular dispersive liquid crystal layer is held between the glasses. Numerous microlenses comprising electrically conductive plastic are distributed on the front face of the reflecting layer. |
