PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container having excellent operability when closing a cover, in a container molded by protruding a synthetic resin sheet material. SOLUTION: A container body 1 and a cover body 2 covering and sealing the container body are formed continuously through a folding portion 5 on one side thereof, a ridge 3 vertically projecting with respect to the outer periphery of commodity housing recessed portions 11 and 21 is formed around the periphery of either one of the container body or the cover body, a recessed soulder portion 4 including an inside wall surface 43 made into a shape and size so as to substantially tightly fit with an outside wall surface 33 of the ridge is formed around another periphery, and the recessed soulder portion 4 includes the inside wall surface 43 composed of an inner peripheral surface of a rige 4a raised on the side of the folding portion, an inner peripheral surface of a concavity portion 4b on the side of a free end 6, and an inner peripheral surface formed of inclined riges 4c and 4c, in which the sides of the folding portion are disposed higher than the sides of the free end, and inclined concavity portions 4d and 4d, in which the concavity depth on the sides of the free end is made deeper than that on the sides of the folding portion. |
