PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide iron oxide particles and the method of manufacturing them having good flowability, dispersability, handling property, moisture absorption stability to environment changes, flexible control of resistivity and improved flowability of resin powders containing a magnetic body. SOLUTION: The iron oxide is coated with a layer of Si and Fe compound oxide and further coated with a Si component.
