PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device of a liquid development system which is capable of treating the cleaning liquid and untransferred toner particles removed from the surface of a photoreceptor in a separated state. SOLUTION: This cleaning device has a cleaning roller and a cleaning liquid coating application means for applying the cleaning liquid to the surface of the photoreceptor on the upstream side in the rotating direction of the photoreceptor relative to the cleaning roller and impresses the voltage of the polarity reverse from the polarity of the toners to the bottom plate of an inside housing for housing the cleaning roller.
