PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the construction work which is performed for installing an overall moving direction correcting device simpler and inexpensive and, at the same time, to reduce the influence of the construction work on the design of a location in a building, etc., using a mobile stand. SOLUTION: The overall moving direction correcting device is used for the mobile stand 1 provided with a floor base 3 which supports a plurality of chairs 2 arranged side by side and is extended in the lateral direction of the chairs 2 and moving devices 12-17 which move the floor base 3 as a whole in a direction crossing the extended direction of the base 3 and corrects the overall moving direction of the base 3 by means of the moving devices 12-17. The stand 1 is provided with sensor means 26 and 27 and, at the same time, a liner guiding means 24 which can be detected by means of the sensor means 26 and 27 and is extended along the overall moving direction of the base 3 in a space above a surface 5 on which the base 3 is moved so as to correct the overall moving direction of the base 3 by means of the moving devices 12-17 based on the signals outputted from the sensor means 26 and 27 upon detecting the guiding means 24.
