PLASTIC LENS WITH HARD COAT LAYER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic lens with a hard coat layer having high wear and scuffing resistances almost comparable to those of inorganic glass and excellent in transparency and to provide a method for manufacturing the plastic lens. SOLUTION: A hard coat layer in which the outermost layer is a layer of a cured body of a coating composition (B) containing a polysilazane and an inner layer kept in contact with the outermost layer is a layer of a cured body of a coating composition (A) containing a polyfunctional compound (a) having two or more polymerizable functional groups curable with active energy beams is formed on the surface of a plastic lens substrate.
