<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of realizing the prolongation of the life time of a unit and the improvement of image quality by reducing adverse influence exerted on other units in the image forming device due to heat generated by the heating of a fixing device, performing jamming disposal and the exchange of the unit, without being influenced by the heat, and improving usability. SOLUTION: A pre-fixing guide 6a is constituted to be switched to a carrying position, where transfer material P is guided to the specified position of a fixing unit 6 and a fixing heat shielding position, where a carrying surface is opposed to the fixing unit 6, so as to prevent heat generated by the heating of the fixing unit 6 from propagating to upstream part in the carrying direction of the transfer material P.</p> |
