SOLUTION: This image forming device to form an image according to inputted image data has plural halftone processing methods, can properly apply different processing methods according to image characteristics, forms a specified image pattern on recording material, reads the image pattern formed on the recording material by a pattern forming means, and controls an image forming condition based on the characteristics of the read image pattern. A stage for controlling the image forming condition by forming the image pattern every time halftone processing is performed plural times is independently performed every time the halftone processing is performed plural times. |
