PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead location inspection apparatus by which the state of the bearing part of a bridge is confirmed visually on the ground, so as to be also recorded as required. SOLUTION: The high-place inspection apparatus is composed of a telescopic pole 1, which can be erected and installed on the ground via legs 2, an arm 3 which is attached to its upper end so as to be freely detachable and which is projected in the horizontal direction, a camera box 6 in which an electronic camera 4 and an illuminator 5 are built and which is attached to the tip of the arm 3, so as to be freely detachable and a monitor 8 which is connected to the camera 4. While the angle of the camera is being adjusted, a photographed image is displayed on the monitor 8, and an overhead location can be inspected from the ground.
