PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscopic apparatus which facilitates the diopter adjustment in an eyepiece section and the operation of an eye shade and the like and is rapidly adjustable to an adequate observation state according to users. SOLUTION: An operating control 16 for diopter adjustment is arranged in a position parting from a lens holder 11 in the optical axis direction of an eyepiece 12 and a gear mechanism 17 for transmitting the operating force of the operating control 16 to the lens holder 11 is disposed between the lens holder 11 and the operating control 16.
