PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device for a transmission capable of preventing burning of an electric motor constituting a shift actuator. SOLUTION: Impressible maximum electric power corresponding to a temperature of the electric motor constituting the shift actuator is determined, and is compared with target driving electric power decided on the basis of the impressible maximum electric power and a shift stroke position, and when the target driving electric power is not more than the impressible maximum electric power, the shift actuator is driven by the target driving electric power, and when the target driving electric power is larger than the impressible maximum electric power, the shift actuator is driven by the impressible maximum electric power.
