PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier vehicle 1 capable of efficiently carrying a load 3 in the case when a small bore diameter tunnel 7 becomes long and a carrier method. SOLUTION: This carrier vehicle of the load to travel on a track 5 is constituted of an even number of carriages 11 at least one of which is mobile, and the carriages are connected in two rows at the time of transporting the load and connected in one row at the time of forwarding it. Thereby, it is possible to constitute it to be free to travel with only a wheel 4a positioned outside in the case of connecting it in two rows. Additionally, the carrier method constites its characteristic feature of using the carrier vehicle and that the carrier vehicle connected in two rows and loading the load travels from one of the track 5, the carrier vehicle connected in one row travels from the other and the carrier vehicle connected in one row travels within width of the carrier vehicle connected in the two rows at the time when the carrier vehicles traveling from both ways pass each other.
