PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sterilize inside a cap having a cylinder part 21 and a top plane 22 for blocking one end of the circular cylinder part 21 with a device, which irradiates electronic beams on every hole and corner of the cap's entire inner surface for assured sterilization. SOLUTION: The cap sterilization device is equipped with a cap shift means 6 by which the cap 2 is shifted linearly while rotated along a circuit direction of the cylinder part 21, and an irradiation equipment 10 which irradiates electronic beams on an inner surface of the cap 2 being shifted by the shift means 6. The shift means 6 is equipped with a pair of belts 61, 62 which contact with the cylinder part 21, and by running these belts 61, 62 in the reverse direction at different speeds, the cap 2 is shifted linearly while rotated. The irradiation equipment 10 irradiates electronic beams against the inner surface of the cap 2 form an oblique direction. And that, the equipment 10 irradiates the electronic beams which have a width including at least from a central point 22a of the top plane 22 to the farthest part 21b of an opening edge of the cylinder part 21, viewed from radiational direction, along with a length ranges over at least a complete circle on which the shifting cap rotates.
