PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing plate of a camera capable of surely blocking light entering through a space between the pressing plate and a magnetic head without increasing the amount of parts. SOLUTION: A connecting section 4a of a flexible printed board 4 is set so as to override a light blocking rib 1b of the pressing plate 1, and the end 4b of the connecting section 4a of the flexible printed board 4 is contained in a housing section 1d of the pressing plate 1, and a terminal 2b of the magnetic head 2 and the connecting section 4a of the flexible printed board 4 are connected by soldering. A pad 6 is fitted into a hole 3a formed in a camera main body 3 so as to be able to slide therein, thereby allowes a film F to come in contact with the magnetic head 2. A pad spring 7 is disposed in the hole 3a formed in the camera main body 3, thereby forces the pad 6 toward the magnetic head 2. A elastic blocking member 8 is disposed behind the magnetic head 2, thereby blocks the light entering from the rear side of the magnetic head 2.
