摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the simple and compact structure of a variable bypass nozzle of a jet engine for aircraft capable of easily controlling a flow of a bypass flow passage. SOLUTION: A variable bypass nozzle 5 is fitted to a tip of a bypass cowl 4, and the variable bypass nozzle 5 is provided with a flap 8 to be rocked around a hinge 7 so as to change an opening area S of the bypass nozzle 5 on the tip side 6a of a support 6 divided into plural parts in the circumferential direction. A rear end 6b of the support 6 is provided with an energizing means 9 such as a spring for energizing a tip 8a of the flap 8. This energizing means 9 is supported by a support rod 10 stood on the rear end side 6b of the support 6, and always pushes the rear end side 8b of the flap 8 downward so as to enlarge the opening area S to the maximum, and a part of the flap 8 on the rear side of the hinge is provided with a rocking means 11 for rocking the flap 8 around the hinge 7 as a support point.
