PURPOSE: Provided are a hydrogen generation-inhibiting photo-curable resin composition for coating an optic fiber and a method for preparing the same. CONSTITUTION: The hydrogen generation-inhibiting photo-curable resin composition comprises: (a) 10-90 wt% of photopolymerizable urethane acrylate oligomer; (b) 5-60 wt% of reactive monomer comprising at least one acrylate group, methacrylate group or vinyl group; (c) 3-15 wt% of photoinitiator; (d) 0.1-5 wt% of antioxidant; (e) 0.1-5 wt% of leveling agent/antifoaming agent; and (f) 0.0001-5 wt% of hydrogen inhibitor.
