<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mold of glass products for a cathode ray tube, although repeatedly used, that can keep the same target temperature as newly produced one under the same cooling condition. SOLUTION: This metal mold produces a cathode ray tube by setting a high temperature glass gob on a bottom metal mold fitted with a cylinder metal mold, then pressing/stretching the glass gob in the molds by an upper metal mold. This metal mold material is comprised of an alloy casting containing 11.5-13.5 wt.% Cr, <=0.15 wt.% C, <=0.6 wt.% Mo, <=1.5 wt.% sum of other impurities and Fe as remainder, which is especially suitable for cylinder metal molds.</p> |
