PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a flow resistance to gas flowing through a gas cock. SOLUTION: In an upstream section 11A of a gas passage 11 which is formed in a cock body 1, a section downstream from a packing 3 is composed of a small diameter hole section 11a on the packing 3 side and a large diameter hole section 11b on a valve storing hole 12 side. The small diameter hole section 11a provides the same inside diameter as that of the packing 3, and the large diameter hole section 11b provides a larger diameter than inside diameter of the packing 3. The inside diameters of a hollow hole 51 and a downstream end section 11B provide the same dimension as that of the large diameter hole section 11b.
