PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To converge an actual slip rotating speed to a target slip rotating speed with excellent responsiveness when transferring to a coast-down state while preventing the occurrence of hunting in slip lockup control. SOLUTION: When a state where the actual slip rotating speed is smaller by a prescribed value E1 or more than the target slip rotating speed and a fastening pressure command value LUPRS of a lockup clutch exceeds a releasing side limit value P1 continues for a prescribed time or more in the slip lockup control, the fastening pressure command value LUPRS is fixed to a prescribed value Pc adjusted to coast lockup control, and feedback control on the basis of a deviation between the target slip rotating speed and the actual slip rotating speed is stopped, and the feedback control is resumed from a state of the fastening pressure command value LUPRS=Pc.
