PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravestone which is capable of preventing water sprinkled over a tower body from flowing down to a prayer's stone and wetting it and keeping out the forcefully flowing-down water when visiting and cleaning the gravestone, is esthetically beautiful, is easily worked on with little labor, can be inexpensively provided for consumers, is durable with not danger of breakage in use, and is safe. SOLUTION: An edge is provided for the front end part of a podium. The podium is comprised of a rear flat stone and a front worked flat stone. The top face of the worked flat stone is shaved off by a predetermined thickness, and the remaining part from the shaving becomes the edge.
