PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring seat of suspension for automotive vehicle in which spring characteristics in axial direction (in vertical direction of motor vehicle) can be made flexible, rigidity as a whole can be secured by a hard core member, and further generation of abnormal noise due to contact between a coil spring and a rubber elastic body is restrained. SOLUTION: The spring seat 10 is provided with a core member 11 made by resin or metal which is integrally formed by a tubular shaped part 12 inserted in part from the side of car body side member 22 to the inside of the coil spring 21 and also a flange part 14 which extends radially outward and has cutouts in plural points of circumferential direction from the outer circumferential edge toward the inner peripheral side and disposed on the edge part on the side of car body side member of the tubular shaped part. The rubber elastic part 15 is integrally formed by vulcanization molding over the entire surface of the mounting face side of the coil spring of the flange part of the core member, thereby the entire edge of the mounted coil spring is made firmly contact, and opened recesses are provided on the surface of the side of the car body side member corresponding to the positions of the cutouts.
