PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a pressure pad for an anchoring method to sufficiently keep the water required for growing trees and plants planted on the pad and to maintain a slope in a better sight. SOLUTION: This pressure pad is provided with ground-contacting bottom plate sections 3 which can be brought into contact with a slope face F, anchor inserting sections 5 which are made through the bottom plates 3 for inserting anchor members 8, and anchor locking sections 6 formed in the anchor inserting sections 5 to lock the anchor members 8. The pad is also provided with peripheral vertical reinforcing plate sections 7A erected on the peripheral edge sections of the bottom plates 3. The pad is constituted so that the bottom plate sections 3 may be press-contacted with the slope face F by locking the anchor members 8 underground. Horizontal holes 21 through which water can be supplied to and drained from the space surrounded by the reinforcing plate sections 7A are made through the vertical reinforcing plate sections 7A near the junctions with the bottom plate sections 3.
