PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical analyzer of simple constitution, which will not require a heat-radiating means and can easily achieve compactness and in which a light source is simple and compact, heat rays are not produced from the light source, and a light receiver is resistant to impact. SOLUTION: In the optical analyzer, an ultraviolet light-emitting diode 1 comprised of a nitride semiconductor of emitted wavelength 360 nm or shorter is used as the light source. A charge-coupled device 9, which is a semiconductor light-receiving element, is used as the light receiver. A diffraction grating 8, which is a spectroscopic optical element, is arranged as a spectroscopic means. |
