PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler for restraining a pressure loss and improving versatility. SOLUTION: A resonator 21 is integrally arranged on a side wall of a bell- mouth part 16 together with a scroll case 11, and at this time, the resonator 21 is positioned between an upper surface (a surface for forming the bell-mouth part 16 among a scroll case 11) of the scroll case 11 and an air suction port 3 (an upstream end opening part of the bell-mouth part 16) in the projecting direction (in the vertical direction) of the bell-mouth part 16, and the resonator 21 is positioned above an outlet part 12 of the scroll case 11.
