PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device for dimension capable of measuring precise dimension of various measured surfaces, which are difficult to be measured, such as a curved surface, a long place, a high position and a soft place. SOLUTION: A tape 10 of measuring device is formed in a long and narrow belt shape to be rolled into a spiral. The one surface of the tape 10 has scale marks 11, the other surface of the tape 10, that is opposite surface having the marks 11, has an adhesive material 12. When measuring dimensions, a user bonds the surface of the tape 10 having the material 12 to place to a measured surface of a body. Even if the measured surface is formed in a shape including curved surfaces or acute angles, the tape 10 is composed of materials with high flexibility such as paper and cloth, so that the tape 10 enabled to be bonded along with the measured surface by bending with ease. The user bonds the part of the tape 10 corresponding to the necessary length to the measured surface and cuts the part.
