PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the operating part of a trap plug having a structure in which a rotation of a handle is not transmitted to a piston, and implementing cost reduction and easy disassembly. SOLUTION: The operating part of a trap plug provides an actuating male screw 7 around the upper lid 2 connected to the upper end of a pipe, an operation rod 6 connected to a rod tip and provided with a U-shaped circumferential groove on the upper part which is accommodated within a resin handle 5 having an actuating female screw 3 screwed in the actuating male screw, a through- groove is provided on the upper side part of the handle 5, and two supporting pieces 16 having a semi-circumferential supporting part fixed with the circumferential groove of the operation rod 6 which is inserted into the through-groove are provided.
