PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing of damping material in which burrs and cutting chips are reduced and generation of dust can be prevented. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the damping material having laminated structure of a viscoelastic media and a restraint body, comprising the steps of: cure molding after molding materials of viscoelastic media are applied on a restraint body via a screen in which a punched pictorial images of predetermined shape are formed (1); and working the restraint body to the predetermined shape in accordance with the viscoelastic media of predetermined shape (2).
