PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-nature type and environmental preservation type channel block harmless to man and organisms without impairing the scene of an installation place and useful for the maintenance of a forest and local promotion. SOLUTION: In this channel block wherein a plurality of wood 2 equal in longitudinal length L are laterally arranged to cover the whole inner peripheral surface, each wood 2 with the back face side embedded in a block body 1 is provided with a plurality of locking fittings 3 longitudinally arranged at the back face part in a partially projecting manner, and each wood 2 is arranged so that the respective locking fittings 3 are almost radial from the longitudinal direction view. In this state, each wood is integrated with a block body material 5 by integral forming to constitute the channel block A.
