PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed roller installing device provided with a toothed roller holder having a structure for protecting human fingers or the like from a toothed holder for preventing the human fingers from accidentally getting in contact with the toothed roller journalled to the toothed roller holder to be injured. SOLUTION: A protective part 36 has such a protruded curved surface form that teeth of the toothed roller 31 is hidden. Because of the protruded curved surface form of the protective part 36 and the accessing structure to the toothed roller 31, operators cannot easily get in contact with the teeth of the toothed roller 31, so that their fingers or the like can be protected from the toothed roller 31. Even when the toothed roller 31 moves upward due to vertical oscillation of the toothed roller holder 32, position relation between the toothed roller 31 and the protective part 36 is maintained since the protective part 36 is provided on the toothed roller holder 32, thereby the toothed roller 31 is kept without being exposed from the protective part 36.
