PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container wherein nonuniformity in quality especially in taste is difficult to occur in skewered food on the same skewer and a container wherein a separate sauce container need not be prepared when eating the food while dipping in the sauce. SOLUTION: The container which can vertically receive skewered food in a form of a bar includes, in the interior 4 of a container body 2, a food housing 4a for receiving the food, a support 3 formed to support the food above a bottom 2c of the container body 2 and a sauce reservoir 4b.
