PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper box which is compactly folded and can be disposed. SOLUTION: In a box wherein the peripheral wall is formed by connectedly providing a pair of end boards 4 and side boards 7 on the periphery of a base board 3 and by connecting the end boards 4 and the side boards 7, a continuous folding line 12 is provided on the base board 3 and the side boards 7 and locking pieces 13 formed by slitting are provided at ridge parts of the base board 3 and the end boards 4 with this folding line 12 as a symmetrical axis. This box is folded into two along the folding line 12, and the end boards 4 are folded inside. The box is firmly locked with the doubled lock pieces 13 and can be disposed without being bulky.
