PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system which is capable of realizing a high resolution display in correspondence to the progression of technology, a display device and a display method. SOLUTION: This display system includes the display device which has a display screen provided with n×m pieces of display areas by dividing the screen into (n) pieces in a horizontal direction and (m) pieces in a vertical direction, n×m pieces of first display controllers which are disposed in n×m pieces of the display areas respectively in correspondence thereto, have frame memories, draw and store the display data in these frame memories and operate asynchronously with each other and n×m pieces of second display controllers which are disposed in n×m pieces of the display areas respectively in correspondence thereto, have the frame memories, store the display data transferred from n×m pieces of the first display controllers into the frame memories and display the display data stored in the frame memories in the corresponding display areas synchronously with each other.
