PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color photographic sensitive material excellent in sensitivity, high maximum concentration and suitability for simple rapid processing property. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material has a photographic constituting layer coated on a substrate and this layer contains at least one photographic sensitive layer comprising a photosensitive silver halide, an organic silver salt having a nitrogen-containing heterocycle, a compound forming a dye by coupling reaction with an oxidized body of a developing agent and a binder, and the photographic sensitive layer contains a silver halide emulsion comprising as a photosensitive silver halide a flat platy silver halide grain having a main surface constituted of a (111) face, an average equivalent circular corresponding diameter of 0.7μm and an average thickness of <0.20μm, and contains a compound having Ag substituted for H in a 5-membered or a 6-membered nitrogen-containing heterocycle having at least one -NH- group as the organic silver salt.
