PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct-acting rolling guide unit that hardly reduces slide resistance and hardly produces an abrasion powder caused by an initial abrasion. SOLUTION: In the direct-acting rolling guide unit comprises a guide rail 1, having a rolling-body rolling groove 3 extending to the direction of the axis at its external periphery; a slider 2 having a rolling-body rolling groove 4, that is assembled to the guide rail 1 and opposes to the rolling-body rolling groove 3 of the guide rail 1; and a plurality of rolling body 5, mounted so as to be capable of freely rolling in a rolling-body rolling path 10, formed from two rolling-body rolling grooves 3, 4, the surface roughness of at least a part of the rolling-body rolling grooves 3, 4 is made to be not more than Ra 0.20μm for center-line average roughness.
