<p>PURPOSE: A board connector is provided to secure sufficient pitch between connection terminals and reduce the entire mounting area of the connection terminals by using a surface-mounting type arm terminal and a multi-line grids. CONSTITUTION: A board connector for electrically connecting two boards on which various electronic elements are mounted includes a multi-line grid(110), an arm terminal, and a socket housing(120). The multi-line grid has a plurality of electrode lines formed at the sides, and a plurality of input/output contact points respectively connected to the electrode lines to come into contact with input/output nodes of one of the boards. The arm terminal is composed of a plurality of connection terminals that electrically come into contact with the electrode lines when the two boards are connected to each other. One end of each of the connection terminals comes into contact with each input/output node of the other board. The socket housing is attached on the other board and has an inner space for accommodating the multi-line grid detachably.</p> |
