CONTROL SYSTEM OF POWER CONVERTER

PURPOSE: A control system of a power converter is provided to implement control operation changed depending on the type of the power converter of a car by simply changing a program. CONSTITUTION: A control system of a power converter comprises an ADC(analog-digital converter)(30), a PLD(programmable logic device)(40), a DSP(digital signal processor)(10), an EEPROM(20) and a DMA(dynamic memory access) controller(50). The ADC(30) converts analog signals of a sensor for measuring an output voltage and an output current of the power converter to digital signals. The PLD(40) receives an encoder pulse of a motor for measuring a speed of a car and outputs a PWM(pulse width modulation) pulse of the power converter. The DSP(10) receives the output voltage and the output current of the power converter and the speed of the car and changes the PWM pulse to control the output state of the power converter. The EEPROM(20) stores a program for operating the DSP(10). The DMA controller(50) provides high speed data communication with a PC.
