PURPOSE: A method of operating an information providing site for an automobile and a driver is provided to offer the maintenance information and the performance information of a subscriber's car to the subscriber by inputting a driving distance and an oiling amount of the car to a system whenever the subscriber fills the car. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a communication device(20a,20b), a user terminal(30a), a server(40) storing and updating the data transmitted from the terminal in a necessary data format and transmitting the updated data to the terminal or a preset communication path, a bank/credit card company server(50) requesting a credit card payment occurred in respective gas stations(30) by connecting to the server, a car maintenance company server(60) databasing, storing and managing a maintenance record of the car and providing the stored data to the server in a preset output format, a motor company server(70) receiving the maintenance information and the performance information of the car from the server, and a secondhand car sales company server(80) and an insurance company server(90).
