PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary angle detector improving durability without including a contacting and sliding part, a torque detector detecting rotary torque using it and a steering device provided with them. SOLUTION: Ring-like targets 2 are fixed on the lower end of an input shaft 31 and the upper end of an output shaft 32 respectively. The reflection part 20 of a saw-toothed groove is circumferentially provided on the outer peripheral face of the target 2, and the bottom face of the reflection part 20 is made a mirror face so that a mirror face reflectance is high as compared with the other face. Line sensors 1A, 1B long in the axial length direction of a steering shaft 3 are arranged on the outside of the targets 2, 2, their outputs VA, VB are given to a calculation processing part 4, and the rotary angles of the input shaft 31 and the output shaft 32 and the rotary torque applied on the input shaft 31 are calculated in the calculation processing part 4. |
