PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability, usability and durability. SOLUTION: In a lifting device for a vehicle for lifting a platform 8, a runner 4 is fitted with a lifting assist link 10 coaxially with a lower link 7, and a guide member 25 for guiding a driving force transmitting member connected to the lifting assist link 10 is provided with a linear guiding part 25a and a slope guiding part 25b. When horizontally moving the lifting assist link 10 by moving the driving force transmitting member along the liner guiding part 25a, relative movement of a rolling contact surface 7b and a driving lifting assist roller causes the lower link 7 to turn based on the shape of the rolling contact surface 7b. When turning the lifting assist link 10 by moving the driving force transmitting member along the slope guiding part 25b, the lifting assist link 10 engages with the lower link 7, so that the lower link 7 is turned according to the turning track of the lifting assist link 10 turned based on the shape of the slope guiding part 25b.
