PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inside cleaning method in which a plurality of steam generators in a nuclear power plant are cleaned in a short time and with satisfactory efficiency and which reduces the treatment cost of a waste liquid. SOLUTION: In the inside cleaning method for a steam generator in the nuclear power plant, bottom parts in barrel-side spaces of two steam generators 10a, 10b are made to communicate with each other by a transfer pipe 33, a cleaning liquid 29 in a prescribed amount is supplied to the barrel-side space of the steam generator 10a, an inert-gas pressure is made to act on the cleaning liquid 29 through a main steam valve 15, the cleaning liquid 29 is transferred to the steam generator 10b through the transfer pipe 33, and the cleaning liquid 29 is reversely transferred to the steam generator 10a from the steam generator 10b in the same manner after a prescribed time.
