HIGH DENSITY MICROPOROUS FABRIC

PURPOSE: A microporous fabric having an average pore size from 0.1 to 4.0 micrometer, high moisture vapor permeability and washing fastness is provided which can be used as articles for prevention of various allergies such as bed cover, baby garment or the like. CONSTITUTION: This microporous fabric is prepared by processing of a synthetic ultrafine fiber such as polyester ultrafine fiber and/or polyester/nylon conjugate fiber at a temperature of 65 to 75deg.C at a speed of 65 to 70m/min, at a pressure of 25 to 30 ton after weaving. The microporous fiber has above 150 warps/inch and above 110 wefts/inch. It also has an air permeability of 1.0 to 30 cfm and a moisture permeability of 1,500g/m¬2/24h.
