PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleep cycle alarm timepiece capable of notifying a person of time to conformably wake up by combining a device for detecting the time of having gone to sleep with a clock with an alarm device and issuing an alarm in every sleep cycle of 90 minutes on the basis that 90 minutes are one cycle in human sleep with REM sleep and non-REM sleep combined together and that he can be refreshed and wake up in one and a half hours, three hours, four and a half hours, six hours, seven and a half hours, or nine hours after going to sleep. SOLUTION: It is utilized that the electric resistance of an organism changes in a human before and after going to sleep. An organism electric resistance measuring device is built in part of the back lid of a watch with an alarm device to measure changes in electric resistance at part of a wrist before and after going to sleep. When a predetermined rise is detected, the time of having gone to sleep is determined to be a signal to turn on the alarm which sounds in a cycle of 90 minutes. |
