摘要 PURPOSE: A structure of a sustain electrode in a gas discharge display unit is provided to improve luminance and efficiency of a plasma display panel by increasing a discharge path of a sustain electrode. CONSTITUTION: A discharge region is formed between a front substrate for displaying an image and a rear substrate parallel to the front substrate. A sustain electrode is formed in a predetermined interval on a front substrate in order to maintain a discharge voltage. In the sustain electrode, a discharge path gap(50) between neighboring transparent electrodes(40a,40b) has a predetermined width. A multitude of bent portion is formed on each facing side of neighboring transparent electrodes(40a,40b) in order to form a bent. A plurality of bus electrode(60,62) is formed on each side of neighboring transparent electrodes(40a,40b) in order to prevent a voltage drop phenomenon.
