PURPOSE: A method for copying a log file in an ATM(Automatic Teller Machine) is provided to easily reproduce a log file generated and stored in a specific date by using a touch screen placed on the front face of an ATM. CONSTITUTION: An ATM(100) comprises an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(1) placed on the front face of the ATM to guide and display modes and procedure, a key input unit(2) to input a user key by a guide message displayed on the LCD, a central processing unit(3) to process and control transactions corresponding to the key input, an interface unit(5) to interface data between the central processing unit and a host, a storage unit(4) to store the data needed for the central processing unit and a log file, a touch screen unit(6) placed on the rear face of the ATM to provide a log file reproduction guide screen and key input, and a disk unit(7) to rewrite the log file on a removable disk.
