COMPOSITION FOR PROTECTION OF KERATINOUS FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition and to provide a process for the protection of the hair from damage caused by chemical treatment. SOLUTION: The composition for the protection of keratinous fibers comprises at least one compound selected from ceramides and glycoceramides, at least one cationic polymer and at least one amphoteric polymer. The process for the protection of the keratinous fibers from damage caused by the chemical treatment (leaving on the hair) comprises applying the composition comprising at least the one compound selected from ceramides and glycoceramides to the keratinous fibers prior to the chemical treatment. The kit is used for the process.
