PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for mounting a drill to a tunnel boring machine facilitating boring operation by allowing even a tunnel boring machine with a relatively small bore to be always equipped with a boring unit through the rational use of small space. SOLUTION: A girder 4 connecting the body of the tunnel boring machine to a following truck is disposed so that at least a partial section thereof is located at approximately the center of a tunnel cross section. A guide ring 11 in the form of a partially cut circle describing an arc approximately concentric with the tunnel cross section is provided on the outside of the girder 4 located at approximately the center of the tunnel cross section. The boring unit 20 is height- and angle-adjustably supported by a head portion 15 which is movable over the guide ring 11. The boring unit 20 can move about the axis of the tunnel cross section and bore a hole. |
