PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal type positive planographic printing plate less liable to scuff and easy to handle in ordinary work. SOLUTION: The planographic printing plate is obtained by disposing a photosensitive layer which is made alkali-soluble by heating on an aluminum base obtained by subjecting an aluminum sheet to surface roughening treatment and anodic oxidation.
