<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for melting treatment of burned ash which enables life extension of lining refractories of a melting treatment furnace and quality improvement of obtained slag as well as conventional level volume reduction and detoxification. SOLUTION: In the method for melting treatment of burned ash, a reactor vessel which is lined with alumina base and/or magnesia base refractories is charged with burned ash for melting, followed by separation into molten metal, slag and heavy metal dusts and recovery. Before being charged into the reactor vessel or during melting, the burned ash is added with CaO contained materials so that the degree of basicity (CaO/SiO2) of ultimately formed molten slag falls within the range of 1.2-2.5.</p> |
