PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump for sufficiently securing the passage cross-sectional area of a suction passage without enlarging a pump body and without reducing suction efficiency. SOLUTION: A pair of suction ports 61a and 61b are formed on a side surface of a side wall member 6 opposed in the shaft direction to a suction part of a rotor 5 in a cam ring 4. A pair of delivery ports 62a and 62b for communicating with a delivery port in a pump housing 1 are formed on the side surface of the side wall member 6 opposed in the shaft direction to a delivery part of the rotor 5 in the cam ring 4. Grooves (suction passages) 64a and 64b for communicating the pair of suction ports 61a and 61b formed in the side wall member 6 and a suction port 11 formed in the pump housing 1 in a state of leaving a partition wall 63 are formed on the side surface opposed to the cam ring 4 and the rotor 5 in the side wall member 3.
