PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the fluctuation of a power supply voltage caused by a difference between a current drain for a vertical blanking period and that for a video period has an effect on a display picture. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises a digital signal processing circuit divided into plural processing blocks, and plural delay circuits, so that a video signal processed by the processing blocks is delayed by the delay circuits and is sequentially outputted to the subsequent stage processing blocks. Thus, fluctuations of the operation rate of the digital signal processing circuit for the vertical period is controlled, and the fluctuations of the power supply voltage can be suppressed.
